About

I am a pastel artist living in Plymouth, Massachusetts and have recently found soft pastels as an exciting creative medium.
My paintings capture quiet fleeting moments of the natural world. There is a gentle grounding peace found in nature—in the soft gaze of an animal, the vibrant burst of a petal, or the way a single ray of light transforms a landscape. These are the moments that make me pause, and they are the moments I am driven to capture.
Working with soft pastels allows me to interact with my subjects in a deeply tactile way. Through the blend of realistic detail and expressive impressionistic color, I paint not just what the scene looks like, but what it feels like to stand within it.
Ultimately, my art is an invitation to slow down and breathe. In a world that can be loud and chaotic, I hope my work reminds you of the beauty that surrounds us and the quiet joy of paying attention.
Memberships include Plymouth Center for the Arts, North River Arts Society and the Pastel Painters Society of Cape Cod.
